About the Journal
CURRENT APPLIED PSYCHOLOGY
The founder of the Current Applied Psychology is the Applied Psychology Foundation, which was the publisher of the journal from 1998 to 2016. Since 2017, this responsibility has been taken over by the Faculty of Education and Psychology at ELTE. The journal is published by Eötvös Publisher. Starting in 2016, it is supported by the Hungarian Academy of Sciences and the ELTE Faculty of Education and Psychology.
Profile The journal publishes research studies, case analyses, thematic summaries, methodological articles, research reports, reviews, and current news related to the application of psychology in all fields. We welcome submissions related to the applied areas of social psychology, personality psychology, developmental psychology, and general psychology (such as economics, education, military, clinical psychology, health, environmental, criminal, work and organizational psychology, pedagogy, political psychology, counseling, and sports psychology).
The published articles are addressed to a wide range of professionals working in practical fields, including psychologists and other professionals in related fields (such as teachers, social workers, organizational developers, trainers).
The journal is a quarterly publication (Spring/Summer/Autumn/Winter). It uses a peer-review system, where submitted manuscripts are reviewed by at least two independent, anonymous reviewers.
