About the Journal
Working Papers in Language Pedagogy publishes original articles reporting on the findings of either empirical or theoretical research in all subdisciplines of language pedagogy and applied linguistics. It is a peer-reviewed on-line publication for PhD programme participants, staff and independent researchers published on an annual basis by the Language Pedagogy and English Applied Linguistics PhD Programme, at the School of English-American Studies, Eötvös Loránd University.
As the journal pursues a double blind peer-review process, all submissions are refereed by at least two reviewers and their acceptance is decided by the Editorial Board. One of the reviewers is a member of the staff of the Language Pedagogy and English Applied Linguistics PhD Programme and the Editorial Board, and the other reviewer is external to the programme, and is a member of the international Advisory Board of the journal. Working Papers in Language Pedagogy does not charge the authors any processing fee. The reviewers and editors work pro bono.
